Mortal Kombat XL Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to the video, though a release for PC did not appear to be mentioned.
“All additional characters and skin packs” apparently refers to content from Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pack 1 and the upcoming Kombat Pack 2. The first pack included Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor, while the second comes with Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Xenomorph (Alien), Bo Rai Cho (drunken fist master) and Tri-Borg (combination of Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke).
The Mortal Kombat XL Edition launches on March 1 digitally and in stores. We’ll have more details on the bundle as they are made available.
Mortal Kombat X launched in April 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and has reportedly sold more than 5 million copies. The game’s Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions were canceled.
