As you can see in the video above, it’s quite a robust creation tool, allowing you to tailor a character to your liking in a lot of different ways. Daum Games says it’s the “deepest customization tool of any game on the market.”
Once you’re satisfied, you can save your character and then import it into the full Black Desert Online (or the beta; more on that below) when it launches later this year.
There is also a “Beauty and the Beast” contest going on, challenging players to create the most beautiful and ugliest characters they can to win prizes. Full contest rules can be seen here.
Daum Games also announced today that the second and final closed beta testing period for Black Desert Online will start on February 18. To get in, you’ll need to have preordered the Explorer’s ($50) or Conqueror ($100) versions of the game.
More details about the closed beta test will be announced “at a later stage.”
