You’ll definitely be impressed with Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Lab; its incredible artificial arm (tested on one Johnny Matheny) uses noninvasive Myo armbands to control the prosthetic, and if the video is any indication, there’s a lot of potential in the idea. We’re also into the aquatic robot Toshiba built to help clean spent fuel rods at the Fukushima power plant. It’s too dangerous for humans, so sending a robot down there s a great way to kickstart the cleanup process.
